Istvan Kantor's "Oh Superstar" features trans-gender artist Nina Arsenault and Kantor himself, stuck in a correctional facility, in an undisclosed location. This video is part of Kantor's song-cycle in progress, "AntiHero - The Life and Crimes of Istvan Kantor", a semi-operatic video/performance work with autobiographical content. Oh Superstar is a strong statement about Kantor's Monty Cantsin self, the open pop-star with undefined, android personality, open to any kind of physical or intellectual challenges. The electro-mashup style music is the result of Kantor's collaboration with Trevor Tureski composer, a member of the Canadian Opera Company. The music was mixed by famed deconstructionist MC Maguire.
