Synopsis :

A lost video masterpiece following Anna, a pregnant, homeless 16-year-old, her boyfriend and a loose entourage of hippies and hangers-on in and around rome’s Piazza Navona. The filmmakers involve themselves, as both subject and object, in the lives and didactic times of their protagonist and in the process, call into question the making and machinations of the documentary, the power of the collective and the responsibilities of society. Truly riveting and timelessly radical.

Introduced by Electronic Arts Intermix’s rebecca Cleman, who will discuss some of the unique challenges of preserving analog video in a digital culture, arguing for the value and complications of preserving technology that the predominant industry has long ago abandoned as antiquated.

Restoration : Cineteca Nazionale, Cineteca di Bologna, Associazione Alberto Grifi. With: Anna, Massimo Sarchielli, Vincenzo Mazza, Stefano Cattarossi, Louis Waldon, Jane Fonda, Ivano Urban.
