“I was born and raised in Montreal; both my parents worked at CBC/Radio Canada in the early 1970‘s. Radio shows first, but then my father flirted with TV. The only evidence was the decaying VHS tapes I found in my father’s house: QuelQue Show, a man-on-the-street talk show hosted by my father, Nick Auf der Maur, and his buddy Les Nerenberg and starring the people of Montreal. It was ahead of its time, a time when a (film!) camera on a street corner was a “happening.” Selections from my personal collection — hilarious, candid and an ode to my father’s muse, the City of Montreal.”
