Out in the Arizona desert, ants are building strange structures. A group of scientiest goes to study them. It turns out this might just be a turning point for the human race. This very rare cult film, recently restored from original negatives, is the only feature directed by Saul Bass, the man behind some of the most famous title sequences in movie history (Vertigo, Psycho, Spartacus, etc.).
