LE VIEUX PAYS OÙ RIMBAUD EST MORT
Jean Pierre Lefebvre

O.V. French

The motherland revisited by a quietly ironic Quebecker with the soul of a poet. Like the travelogue of a trip to an ancestral land, this second act in the trilogy featuring the Abel character examines the clichés of the time about France. In this work imbued with delicacy and tenderness, part of the official selection at Cannes in 1977, the story begins in Charleville, where Rimbaud was born, and ends in Marseille, where the famous poet died.
