Le film d’ouverture se promet d’être troublant mais pas le moins attachant ! 10 ½, deuxième long métrage de Podz (Les Sept jours du talion) raconte l’histoire de Tommy (Robert Naylor), un enfant de 10 ans bien connu des services sociaux. Cet enfant rebelle à l’autorité comme à l’affection est jugé irrécupérable par la plupart des éducateurs. Seul Gilles (Claude Legault), son nouvel éducateur, entrevoit une lueur d’espoir dans le regard de cet enfant qui ne communique que par la violence…

Curling suit un hiver dans les vies de Jean-François et Julyvonne Sauvageau, un père protecteur et sa fillette sans rapport au monde. Des événements singuliers viennent briser la tranquillité de leur routine sans histoire. Fraîchement récompensé du Léopard d’argent de la meilleure réalisation et du Prix d’interprétation masculine pour Emmanuel Bilodeau au prestigieux Festival de Locarno, le film met en vedette Emmanuel Bilodeau, Philomène Bilodeau, Roc Lafortune et Sophie Desmarais. Un film plein de promesse et d’humanité!
